Corporate Social Responsibility

AFA has realized that the success of a company does not lie in its staff only, but in the support of its clients and greater community, in that regard AFA has invested a lot of time and funds to the social up‐liftment of the communities it serves.

AFA currently sponsors the following organizations annually.

  • Stepping stones International is an innovative after school and community outreach program serving orphaned and vulnerable adolescents (ages 12‐18+) and their caregivers their staff medical aid is paid for.
  • UB foundation dinner it is an annual fundraising event AFA sponsors and buys tickets, the money raised supports various activities and programmes at the University of Botswana mainly in the form of scholarships for graduate students.
  • House of hope is a centre for unprivileged children and their caregivers. Currently It caters for orphans, destitute and out of school youths; AFA pays their staff medical aid.
  • Holy cross hospice is a charity organization, which provides quality care and support to people, and their caretakers, living with HIV/AIDS and other terminal illnesses AFA pays their staff medical aid.
  • Masiela Trust Fund looks after the wellbeing of children orphaned due to HIV scourge and a range of donations for just causes. Every year AFA donates funds towards the Fund.

  • Donations towards a needy family in Letlhakeng, AFA built a house for the family and donated a wide range of household items and food.
  • Contributing to the presidential housing appeal.
  • Donations towards schools ie Sesholo, Boikhutso, Makgadikgadi, Badale.
  • Contributing to causes like activism against gender based violence, Disability pitso

A range of donations for just causes is made, In the past 5 years AFA has spent an excess of 1 Million Pula towards the acts of benevolence.
